Football Recap: Whitney Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Whitney extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 2-5. They took a blow against the Granite Bay Grizzlies, falling 42-7. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Carson Floyd threw for 60 yards on ten of 20 attempts. On the ground, Cash Stevens rushed for 77 yards and one TD.

As for Granite Bay, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2. The final result isn't all that surprising considering their considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while Whitney is ranked 201st).

Isaiah Ene produced another solid performance rushing for 141 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Tetz, who rushed for 75 yards and one touchdown.
