Volleyball Recap: Newark Takes a Loss

Newark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the New Albany Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on April 10th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-17.

Newark's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for New Albany, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Newark will welcome Bishop Watterson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for New Albany, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Dublin Jerome at 7:00 p.m.
