Basketball Recap: Holt Now 7-2 over Last Nine Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Lansing, Holt was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They managed a 65-60 victory over the Williamston Hornets. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Holt has also been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.4 points per game. As for Williamston, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holt will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on DeWitt at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. Williamston has already played their next matchup (against Fowlerville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
