Tift County extends home winning streak to 19

Recap: Tift County Blue Devils vs. Westover Patriots

The Tift County Blue Devils can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They breezed by Westover at home to the tune of 65-22. Winning may never get old, but Tift County sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Kaiya Conway and Wykieria Holmes certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Conway scored ten points along with eight rebounds, while Holmes scored two points.

Tift County's victory was their 19th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Westover, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Tift County will play host again and welcome Thomas County Central, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Thomas County Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 60th, while Tift County is ranked 13th). As for Westover, they will head out on the road to take on Bainbridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
