Middleton is 6-1 against Skyview since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Middleton Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Skyview Hawks at 7:30 p.m. Middleton will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

Middleton is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Columbia: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Middleton blew Columbia out of the water with an 87-21 final score. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 24 points or more this season.

Middleton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elsie Wyatt led the charge by going 6 of 10 from beyond the arc on her way to 21 points along with five boards and four steals. The dominant performance gave Wyatt a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aysha Fried, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards.

Middleton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 31 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in ten consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Skyview came up short against Emmett on Thursday and fell 28-19. The game marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Middleton's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 49.7 points. As for Skyview, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Middleton against Skyview in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured an 82-23 win. In that game, Middleton amassed a halftime lead of 49-15, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
