After a string of six wins, Satellite's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 5-0 to the Melbourne Bulldogs. The Scorpions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Satellite's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-1. As for Melbourne, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season.

Satellite wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-2 win against West Shore on the 13th. Melbourne has also already played their next match, a 4-3 victory against Sebastian River on the 10th.
