Howard Tech put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Lookout Valley Yellowjackets by a score of 21-17. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-12 last Thursday.

Quinterious Allen was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Devon Holten-McKinney, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in five of his six plate appearances.

Allen wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Howard Tech kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Howard Tech's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Lookout Valley, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Howard Tech will take on East Ridge at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Howard Tech's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. Lookout Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Whitwell at 6:00 p.m. on March 24th.
