Basketball Recap: DeKalb Takes a Loss

DeKalb lost against Columbia City back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The DeKalb Barons took a 41-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbia City Eagles.

DeKalb has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Columbia City, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DeKalb will take on West Noble at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Columbia City, they will square off against New Haven at 7:30 p.m. on February 1st.
