On Friday, the Fultondale Wildcats kept a clean sheet against the Tuscaloosa Academy Knights. They had just enough and edged the Knights out 1-0. Fultondale wouldn't have won without Eric Santos, who scored the game-winner.

Fultondale was without their leading scorer, Maurilio Barragan, in Friday's contest. With Barragan sidelined, Jonathan Cruz got Cruz first action of the season.

Fultondale now has a winning record of 3-2-1.

Fultondale will square off against Montevallo at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Paul's Episcopal at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
