Basketball Recap: Reagan Raiders vs. Mount Tabor Spartans

Reagan came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by the Mount Tabor Spartans 76-47. The Raiders have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cayden Simmons, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 boards. Another player making a difference was JJ McGee, who posted 11 points.

Mount Tabor was led to victory by Dorian Moore and Will Koonin. Moore went 9-for-19 en route to 28 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals, while Koonin shot 50% from the field on his way to 17 points and five boards.
