With a playoff win on the line, Mendocino rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They walked away with a 57-50 win over the Jewish Community Wolves. The victory was familiar territory for the Cardinals, who have now won five games in a row.

Mendocino pushed their record up to 17-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.7 points over those games. As for Jewish Community, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Coming up, Mendocino will square off against Rio Lindo Adventist at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Rio Lindo Adventist is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season. Jewish Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
