After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Davenport, Newport was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Kettle Falls Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 2nd.

Newport's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Kettle Falls, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Newport will face off against rival St. George's at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Kettle Falls is set to square off against their familiar foe Chewelah at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
