Basketball Recap: Mill Creek Takes a Loss

Mill Creek was the 60-51 winner over Buford when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mill Creek Hawks fell 70-58 to the Buford Wolves on Wednesday.

Mill Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Buford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season.

Mill Creek and Buford should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Mill Creek will challenge Mountain View at 5:30 p.m. on Friday up 351 places (73 vs. 424). Similarly, Buford (ranked 22nd) will meet Discovery (ranked 149th) at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
