Basketball Recap: Glencoe Takes a Loss

Glencoe and McMinnville squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Glencoe had to settle for second. They took a blow against the McMinnville Grizzlies, falling 71-44. The loss continues a trend for the Crimson Tide in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now lost five in a row.

Glencoe's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for McMinnville, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

Coming up, Glencoe will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Liberty at 7:15 p.m. Glencoe is facing Liberty at the right time seeing as Liberty is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for McMinnville, they are taking a road trip to challenge Century at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Century has won seven straight at home, while McMinnville won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
