Basketball Preview: Daniel Lions vs. Walhalla Razorbacks        
        
		
             Daniel has gone 8-2 against Walhalla recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Friday. The Daniel Lions will be defending their home-court for the first time this season they go up against the Walhalla Razorbacks  at 6:00  p.m. Both teams are coming into the  matchup red-hot, with Daniel sitting on  three straight  wins and Walhalla on five.
 Last Tuesday, Daniel was able to grind out a solid  victory over Powdersville, taking the game  53-42.
 Daniel got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Shala Williams out in front who  went 5 for 10 en route to 10 points plus five  rebounds and four  steals. Another player making a difference was  Janiyah Wilson, who  scored 12 points along with two  blocks.
 Daniel  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 19  offensive rebounds. That's the most  offensive rebounds they've posted  since  the start of last season.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Walhalla). They took their  game  on Thursday with ease, bagging  a  78-32 victory over Pickens. The Razorbacks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three  contests by 26  points or more this season.
 Daniel pushed their record up to 3-1 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Walhalla, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
 Daniel came out on top in a nail-biter against Walhalla in their previous matchup  back in January, sneaking past  52-50. Will Daniel repeat their success,  or does  Walhalla have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
