Volleyball Recap: Hamilton County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hamilton County was the 2-0 winner over Woodlawn when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Foxes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals on Monday. The Foxes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Hamilton County was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22.

Woodlawn was led to victory by LIBBY WILLIAMS and LEXI WEBB. WILLIAMS had 19 digs and one assist, while WEBB had 15 digs. Those 19 digs gave WILLIAMS a new career-high. MCKENLEY OWENS also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Hamilton County's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Woodlawn, they pushed their record up to 17-17 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Hamilton County has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Edwards County on the 21st. As for Woodlawn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Norris City-Omaha-Enfield on the 23rd.
