Weeping Water triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Riggs Wilson

Recap: Weeping Water Indians vs. Brownell Talbot Raiders
The Weeping Water Indians can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 45-27 win over Brownell Talbot. For Weeping Water, this counts as revenge for the 61-41 loss Brownell Talbot walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Riggs Wilson was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with two steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Bickford, who scored six points.
The victory got Weeping Water back to even at 7-7. As for Brownell Talbot, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-8.
Weeping Water will take on Sterling at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Brownell Talbot will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Heartland Christian on Tuesday.
