Baseball Recap: Triton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton on Thursday, Triton came back down to earth. The Cobras fell 8-3 to the Sibley East Wolverines on Friday.

Triton has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Sibley East, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5.

Looking ahead, Triton will square off against Kenyon-Wanamingo at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Knights will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Sibley East, they will challenge Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
