It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bishop Shanahan had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Parkland Trojans. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won three in a row.

Bishop Shanahan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-20.

Despite the defeat, Parkland saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Chloe Coonradt had 19 digs and four assists. Coonradt has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last nine times she's played. Another player making a difference was Zoey Leach, who had 13 digs and two aces.

Bishop Shanahan's victory bumped their record up to 9-4-1. As for Parkland, their loss ended a seven-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-10-1.

Bishop Shanahan has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Hempfield on the 8th. Parkland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
