Recap: Alleluia Community vs. Community Christian Academy Eagles
With a playoff game on the line, Alleluia Community rose to the challenge on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eagles 80-36 at home. Alleluia Community has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 23 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Sebastian Krementz, who scored 36 points. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Alleluia Community's points. Another player making a difference was Henry Balducci, who scored 12 points.
Despite the defeat, Community Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Kylin McDonald scored 18 points. Beau Moore was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
The win got Alleluia Community back to even at 13-13. As for Community Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Alleluia Community won't have much time to rest: their next match is against The Habersham School at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. Alleluia Community has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 217 points over their last three matches. Community Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
