Softball Recap: Lincoln Academy Takes a Loss

Lincoln Academy lost against Leavitt on May 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles lost 20-1 to the Hornets.

Lincoln Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was O Ball, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Lincoln Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Leavitt, their record now sits at 12-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lincoln Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Gardiner at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Leavitt will challenge rival Medomak Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hornets 2.2, the Panthers 1.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
