Softball Recap: Naples Takes a Loss

Naples lost against Aubrey Rogers back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles lost 13-5 to the Patriots. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mackenzie Leiti was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Naples' defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Aubrey Rogers, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-13.

Coincidentally, Naples and Aubrey Rogers will both be playing Lely the next time they take the field. The Patriots will head out to face the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Golden Eagles will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
