Basketball Recap: Lincoln Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Lincoln waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 64-56 victory over the Lakeside Lions. This was a revenge game for the Lynx: when they faced off against the Lions back in December of 2024, they had to take a 47-40 defeat.

The win got Lincoln back to even at 7-7. As for Lakeside, they moved to 8-6 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Lincoln is taking a road trip to challenge Bishop Blanchet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Blanchet knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Lincoln likes a good challenge. As for Lakeside, they will welcome Cleveland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeside is facing Cleveland at the right time seeing as Cleveland is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
