Basketball Game Preview: Braswell Bengals vs. Coppell Cowboys

The Braswell Bengals will face off against the Coppell Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Braswell is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Flower Mound: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Braswell blew Flower Mound out of the water with a 50-23 final score. Given the Bengals' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Jaguars are ranked 408th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Coppell). They blew past Lewisville 95-51 on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cowboys as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Braswell's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 20-10. As for Coppell, their victory bumped their record up to 12-15.

Everything went Braswell's way against Coppell in their previous meeting on January 3rd, as Braswell made off with a 73-53 win. Does Braswell have another victory up their sleeve, or will Coppell turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
