Volleyball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

Rogers saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Branson Pirates by a score of 2-1. The Mountaineers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Avah Brown paced Rogers' offense, picking up eight kills. Brown were helped by Brianna Tobar and Hannah Msall, who contributed 12 assists each. Sara Weaver controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Rogers now has a losing record of 11-12-2. As for Branson, their win bumped their record up to 16-10-6.

Rogers wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Joplin on the 6th. As for Branson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Camdenton on the 4th.
