Basketball Recap: Estero Drops Highest Score of Season Against Cypress Lake

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Estero). They blew past the Cypress Lake Panthers 73-51 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Leading Estero to victory were Ashton Peterson and Lincoln Zadach. Peterson posted 17 points, while Zadach put up 13 points. Those 13 points gave Zadach a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Andrew Tetrault, who scored eight points.

Estero's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Cypress Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Coincidentally, Estero and Cypress Lake will both be playing Gateway the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
