Basketball Game Preview: Eagle Pass Eagles vs. Medina Valley Panthers

The Eagle Pass Eagles will take on the Medina Valley Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Eagle Pass turned things around against Del Rio on Friday. They came out on top against the Rams by a score of 32-24.

Meanwhile, Medina Valley can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 47-31 victory over Del Rio.

Eagle Pass' win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-15. As for Medina Valley, the victory got them back to even at 14-14.

Eagle Pass was taken down by Medina Valley 59-25 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Eagle Pass was down 36-11.
