Baseball Recap: Clovis Cougars vs. Kerman Lions
Clovis's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Kerman Lions by a score of 7-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2025.
Nolan Brown was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one triple. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Brock Hartmann was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Clovis now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Kerman, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-5.
Looking ahead, Clovis will be playing in front of their home fans against Garces Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kerman, they will venture away from home to challenge Kingsburg at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
