Basketball Recap: River Valley Takes a Loss

River Valley lost against Barneveld back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The River Valley Blackhawks lost to the Barneveld Eagles at home by a 52-37 margin. While losing is never fun, the Blackhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 217th, while the Eagles are ranked 75th).

This is the second loss in a row for River Valley and nudges their season record down to 10-8. As for Barneveld, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.

River Valley will face off against Platteville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Barneveld has already played their next matchup (against Dodgeville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
