Baseball Recap: Lynn English Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Lynn English and Bridgewater-Raynham squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Lynn English had to settle for second. They fell 4-0 to the Trojans. The shutout was out of character for the Bulldogs seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Lynn English's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-10. As for Bridgewater-Raynham, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-11.

Lynn English does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bridgewater-Raynham, they will square off against Andover at 4:00 a.m. on Sunday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Trojans 3.9, the Golden Warriors 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
