You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Westover on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Cairo Syrupmakers with a sharp 62-39 victory. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 55th, while the Syrupmakers are ranked 412th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
