Baseball Recap: Tamarac's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Tamarac waltzed into their contest on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians as they made off with a 12-1 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 10-0 victory on Sunday.

Tamarac got a massive performance out of Jacob Smith, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave Smith a new career-high. Owen Blakesley was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base.

Tamarac was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .519. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Tamarac's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Waterford-Halfmoon, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
