Softball Recap: Petersburg Comes Up Short

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Petersburg was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They lost 18-2 to the Thomas Dale Knights. The Crimson Wave's loss continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Petersburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Thomas Dale, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9.

Coincidentally, Petersburg and Thomas Dale will both be playing Prince George the next time they take the field. The Knights will host the Royals at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Crimson Wave will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
