The Wichita Defenders HomeSchool Defenders were the 60-53 winner over the Lighthouse Christian Chargers when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Wichita Defenders HomeSchool received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 64-49 to the Chargers. Wichita Defenders HomeSchool just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.

Elijah Rahn was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 17 points and nine steals for Lighthouse Christian. The team also got some help courtesy of Judah Louderback, who scored ten points along with four steals.

Wichita Defenders HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Lighthouse Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.

Wichita Defenders HomeSchool will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Arrows at 8:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Kansas (Liberty HomeSchool Alliance is ranked 276th, while the Defenders are ranked 267th). Lighthouse Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th.
