Franklin has gone 7-2 against Canton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Franklin Panthers will host the Canton Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Franklin has 12 straight wins, Canton has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Franklin is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 78-67 victory over Lawrence on Sunday. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked first, while the Lancers are ranked 136th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Canton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 57-51 to Stoughton.

Franklin's win was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points per game. As for Canton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Franklin didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Canton when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 59-54 victory.
