Volleyball Recap: Legacy Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

It's playoff time, and Legacy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the South Fork Bulldogs 3-2 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since September 13th.

Legacy found their leader in sophomore Paisley Woods, who had 21 digs and seven assists.

Legacy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in eight consecutive matches.

South Fork's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Hailee Curl, who had 12 digs and eight assists, and Olivia Mohseni, who had eight digs and one assist.

Legacy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. As for South Fork, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 20-7 record.

Looking ahead, Legacy will venture away from home to square off against John Carroll Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
