Baseball Game Preview: French Camp Academy Panthers vs. Calhoun City Wildcats

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers take on the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

French Camp Academy lost 15-4 to Winona Christian on Tuesday. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

French Camp Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Withers, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Calhoun City's offense. They came up short against Houston on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Hilltoppers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Having lost for the first time this season, French Camp Academy fell to 2-1. As for Calhoun City, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything went French Camp Academy's way against Calhoun City in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as French Camp Academy made off with a 21-3 victory.
