Sunnyslope is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Virgin Valley. The Sunnyslope Vikings walked away with a 52-41 win over the Virgin Valley Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Sunnyslope had a senior duo take command as Kylie Rarrick went 6 of 12 on her way to 17 points and Teagan McIlroy posted ten points along with seven assists and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Amelia Mickelson, who had six points.

Sunnyslope's record is now 10-2. As for Virgin Valley, with the loss, they broke their ten-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-2.

Sunnyslope wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 61-50 defeat against Lynwood on the 27th. As for Virgin Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 41-38 loss against Portola on the 27th.
