Football Game Preview: Queen Creek Bulldogs vs. Corona del Sol Aztecs + How To Watch

Queen Creek is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Friday. They will host the Corona del Sol Aztecs at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Queen Creek is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Basha, who was ranked first at the time (Queen Creek was ranked 19th). The Bulldogs came up short against the Bears on Friday, falling 35-13. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Although Queen Creek took the loss, they still got scores from Rj Jackson and Jaron Liles.

Meanwhile, Corona del Sol played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Perry 44-13. The last quarter was a mere formality, since the game's final score was reached by the end of the third quarter.

This is the second loss in a row for Queen Creek and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Corona del Sol, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Queen Creek was able to grind out a solid victory over Corona del Sol in their previous meeting back in October of 2019, winning 7-0. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Aztecs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
