Cienega came tearing into Thursday's match with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Pueblo Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

One reason for the win was Cienega's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-10.

Derek Zobrist-Carroll paced Cienega's offense, picking up seven kills. Zobrist-Carroll got some help from Caiden Mott and his 27 assists. Mott was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Cienega's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-5. As for Pueblo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 16 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-21 record this season.

Cienega didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Maricopa on the 9th. Pueblo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
