 It was a good run, but  North Catholic unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Mars Fightin' Planets by a score of  5-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to North Catholic of the  3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in April of 2022.
 North Catholic got a good showing from  Alexander Przybylek, who   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits.
 At the plate,  Josef Safar made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-3 with a  home run.  Tommy Koroly was another key contributor,  going 1-for-4 with a  triple and a  run.
 North Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Mars, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-6.
 North Catholic is on the road again  on Wednesday to play Armstrong at 4:00  p.m. North Catholic's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1  runs per game  this season, so Armstrong's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Mars does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
