Volleyball Recap: American Canyon Picks Up Eighth Straight Win at Home

American Canyon won the last time they faced Cardinal Newman and things went their way on Thursday too. The American Canyon Wolves put the hurt on the Cardinal Newman Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Wolves sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

American Canyon never let Cardinal Newman on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23, 25-17.

American Canyon got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Elijah Arizabal out in front who had four digs, four aces, and one block. That's the most aces Arizabal has posted since back in February of 2024.
