Denver South faced Denver East in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Ravens took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Angels. Denver South's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Denver South's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-2-1. As for Denver East, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1-3.
