Volleyball Recap: Sherman Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Sherman waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Scott Skyhawks 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

While Sherman won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-11, 25-22.

Sherman's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sophia Rollo, who had 21 kills, eight digs, and one block. Rollo is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had seven or more in each of the last 53 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Russell, who had 30 assists and six digs.

Sherman's win bumped their record up to 14-4-1. As for Scott, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Sherman will head out to face off against Man at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Scott, they will welcome Point Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
