Riddle is 0-10 against Lost River since April of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Irish will square off against the Raiders at 4:00 p.m. Riddle has given up an average of 9.6 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Riddle is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Illinois Valley on Friday as they made off with a 26-12 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Irish.

A. Hildebrand made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up six earned (and six unearned) runs off 11 hits. Hildebrand was even better at the plate, going 5-for-6 with three stolen bases, five runs, and two triples. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game.
In other batting news, C. Warner and M. Davison did most of the damage at the plate: Warner got on base in five of her six plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and one stolen base, while Davison went 3-for-6 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Warner also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was M. Clark, who got on base in four of her six plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Riddle kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Lost River didn't have quite enough to beat Glendale on Friday and fell 15-14.
Meghan Carpenter made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Karla Navarro was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Lost River now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Riddle, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Riddle suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Lost River in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Can the Irish avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
