Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Emeline Maualuga and Angela Eilers Lead Fountain-Fort Carson to Victory

There's no place like home for Fountain-Fort Carson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Vista Ridge Wolves on Thursday. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Fountain-Fort Carson had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-20, 25-22, 25-20.

Fountain-Fort Carson was led to victory by Angela Eilers and Emeline Maualuga. Eilers had 21 digs and three aces, while Maualuga had 14 assists and six digs. That's the most aces Eilers has posted since back in August. Riley O'Hara also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.
