Miles Marshall commands the offense for a Tigers win

Recap: La Junta Tigers vs. Ellicott Thunderhawks
The La Junta Tigers's eight-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They snuck past Ellicott with a 32-26 victory. The win was just what La Junta needed coming off of a 68-48 loss in their prior match.
La Junta got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Miles Marshall out in front who scored nine points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Alfred Frutado, who scored five points along with four steals.
La Junta's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8. As for Ellicott, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-8.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Woodland Park the next time they take the court. La Junta will host Woodland Park at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Ellicott will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
