Last Thursday, Crane Medical strolled past Bogan with points to spare, taking the game 79-64. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Bengals are ranked 568th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Blackman, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted three or more in the last 14 games he's played. William Hill was another key player, going 5 of 8 on his way to 12 points and seven boards.

Meanwhile, Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 69-27 win over Morgan Park Academy. The Ravens have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Crane Medical is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
