Soccer Recap: West Middlesex Comes Up Short

After flying high against Kennedy Catholic on Thursday, West Middlesex came back down to earth. The Big Reds lost 8-1 to the Fort LeBoeuf Bison on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for West Middlesex in their meetings with Fort LeBoeuf: they've now lost four in a row.

West Middlesex's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Fort LeBoeuf, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Middlesex will square off against Commodore Perry at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. West Middlesex will be up against Commodore Perry's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.88 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Fort LeBoeuf, they will venture away from home to challenge Cathedral Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
