Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson). They put the hurt on the Harmony Eagles with a sharp 11-5 win on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Jefferson's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-13-1. As for Harmony, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jefferson is set to face off against their familiar foe Chapel Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Harmony will square off against rival Hughes Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
